Technical: Grapes comes from young yards, planted from year 2003 to 2008. Harvest is made by hand in mid October. Grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. The must is clarified and fermented with controlled temperatures. Refines in steel tanks for four months with fermentation yeasts.
Winery: The winery is located in the Etna wine area on the north side of the volcano, subjected to high temperature variations and mineral rich soils. Mr. Valenti bought the wine yard 2002 and the first harvest was made 2006. The winery has several yards from Passopiscaro to Castiglione and by the Etna slopes.
Additional information: The name Enrico IV comes from the owner’s interest in poetry, lyrics and theatre.
